Carlton Morris has celebrated his 18th birthday by putting pen-to-paper on his first professional contract with Norwich City.
Morris agreed a two-and-a-half year deal with the club after some promising performances which culminated in the Canaries winning the FA Youth Cup last term.
The England under-19 international has come through the ranks with Norwich and admits that he never considered plying his trade with any other club.
The new contract means that Morris will remain with the Carrow Road outfit until the summer of 2016 and he is excited about what lies ahead.
Morris said: “It will be interesting to see where I am two-and-a-half years from now – it’s very exciting.
“It would be weird doing something else!
I haven’t looked down in years and not seen that Norwich City badge there, so it’s nice to get some security and now I can really concentrate on another FA Youth Cup run this year and getting a few more goals.
“I couldn’t have done anything without our coaching staff and my teammates, but it’s nice to take some praise for myself and now I can strive for that next contract.”
